Dave Thomas is the Marketing Manager for Autobike. He started riding back in the late 70s when his neighbor gave him a 1969 Honda that had vice grips for footpegs and he rode that thing everywhere with his buddies. Later in 1984, he bought his first street bike and had that bike for about a year, and then sold it. Then, after getting married he started looking and looking and looked so much that his wife told him to buy the harley of his dreams if she didn’t have to go into one more Harley shop.
Over the years, Dave had a few enduros and small bikes, but this was his first big street bike. He kept that bike for 6 years before buying the 2011 Harley Davidson Street glide that he still rides to this day. Dave has gone on several journeys with his bike but the ride that he enjoys the most traveling the west coast and the journey getting there – heading to John Day Oregon then up to Sisters and down into Florence and head north on the Hwy 1 to Seaside, Oregon. The view and roads are spectacular.
