This is the knob which secures the Silver Arrow pannier door shut. This was originally held in place by a clever stepped-stud and nut system, shown in the second photo. We can supply the knob and nut, but do not have the studs. Original set-up works as follows -
The left end of the stud screws into the body of the pannier and is ¼ Whitworth by ½” long.
The fine end screws into the knob and is locked in place by the nut this thread is 2BA and is ¼” long.
The recess in the centre is where the lid sits, is 1/8” long
